One of the assigned drawings that we had to complete as part of my figure drawing class was called rendered drawing. Rendered drawing is when the drawing’s perspective is realistic, but not perfect.  A rendered drawing is closer to a illustration.  In each of my two drawings I focused on and brought out the sad emotions that my model was displaying.  In one drawing, it is almost as if the model is wearing a mask, but even the mask cannot contain the sadness the model is experiencing.  In the second one, the model looks as if he is about to fade away into the darkness that tries to surround him.
